I wish the Bible had never been broken down into verses. Chapters I’m ok with, but verses I wish had been left out. Most Christians don’t know the Bible didn’t always have verses, but for most modern Bibles you can thank Robert Estienne who in 1551 separated the books of the Bible into chapters and verses so people could reference specific parts.
